Welcome to the Palmerston North Dance Association

We are a registered charitable organisation, member of PACANZ and have been promoting dance activities, particularly dance competitions, in Palmerston North since 1972.

Our objectives are:

  • to encourage, foster and promote the practice and appreciation of all dance forms
  • to encourage, foster and promote all cultural and educational activities of all dance forms
  • to inculcate in the individual a sense of responsibility and of sportsmanship to his fellow members and associates.

PNDA established the Monica Skinner Memorial Scholarship in 2010.  The scholarship, funds permitting, is awarded yearly to a local dancer embarking on tertiary dance studies.
